Recently I became connected with a fellow Yogi and entrepreneur who was very like minded. She offers a supportive and motivating group on Facebook for women with mind-body businesses. As of Sunday February 7th, we started a 90 day yoga challenge. The commitment is a minimum of 5 mins per day spent on one of the Patanjali's Eight Limbs of Yoga. Yes yoga is not just poses (asanas). The eight limbs serve as guidelines on how to live a meaningful and purposeful life. Here is a brief overview of each limb:
We, light beings, signed up to have a human experience and maybe we never reach Samadhi in this life, but we always have the one after. We need to let go of all the judgement and attachment of what yoga is. Honour where you are in the process and allow yourself to honour where your neighbour is on the mat next to you.
